Backflip 3L Hydration Reservoir

I bought this item to replace a bladder that came with my USWE hydration pack. This bladder has thus far proven to be much better than the old one. The cap makes it super easy to fill and it locks in place securely. I also like the center baffle that keeps the pack from over expanding and keeps the load spread out.

This reservoir has worked great, super easy to fill, with locking top so no accidental dumps on the trail if inverted. The magnetic clip works perfect to keep the hose in place. I had an issue with the hose leaking at the seam where it adjoins to the bag and Mazama sent me a replacement immediately. Great customer service!

Every bite valve I've ever had has leaked. Except this one!! It's a miracle. The little lock is fantastic. This reservoir is easy to fill and clean, doesn't taste like plastic, and never leaks!!! You can throw your pack in the car and then not have to shout "where's the straw? Is the straw under the pack?" because you're worried that when you arrive at your destination there will be water everywhere except in your reservoir. Rest assured that when you arrive at your hike, your water will be safely locked where it belongs. Everything about this product rules.

This is my 3rd bladder I’ve purchased from Mazama. My first one was purchased through Amazon, but after I decided to stop supporting Amazon and Jeff Bezos massive wealth, I purchased the rest directly though Mazama. Customer service is 100. They respond quickly to emails and thoroughly answer questions. Prices are way lower than camelbak, and in my opinion, better quality and less plastic taste. They roll up into a much smaller size (depending on model) and the flip top is so easy to use. Thank you guys for making such a great product. You are my go to bladder brand!

Along with being well-built/designed so that it's easy to fill, easy to drain/dry, works in a variety of my packs, and is easy to use (good bite valve, magnetic tube holder etc) I ESPECIALLY appreciate that it doesn't have any plastic/chemical odor, and doesn't impart any taste to the water! There was a brief hint of Iodine (water purifying/sanitizing agent) from the drink tube, but that was gone after a few sips.
